And the third hotel with champagne towers is this Mount Pocono resort. Paradise Stream Resort is a romantic getaway that features a restaurant offering room service, a spa center, an outdoor fireplace, a game room with billiards, indoor and outdoor pools, and a nightclub with a DJ and dance floor. Other on-site activities include themed dinner nights, horseback riding, canoeing, hiking, and mini golf.

The adult-only suites come with many luxurious amenities, just like in the other Cove Pocono Resorts. Suites offered here are:
Garden of Eden Apple Suite,

– Lakeside Villa Suite with Balcony,
– Cupid’s Suite, and

The Garden of Eden Apple, Diana’s Oasis, and Champagne Tower suites come with a heated indoor pool, but all suites include a heart-shaped hot tub (except for the 7-foot tall champagne tub in the Champagne Towers).

How to Book the Champagne Tower Suite

  1. Choose the Right Room Type: To ensure you get a room with the Champagne Tower, you must select either the “Suite Champagne Tower” or the “Suite Roman Tower.” These are the only room types that feature the Champagne Tower.

  2. Beware of Other Suites: While other suites might offer luxurious amenities like a hot tub and a round bed, they do not come with the Champagne Tower. It’s essential to differentiate between the two to avoid disappointment.

  3. Visual Confirmation: To assist you in making the right choice, we’ve provided photographs of the suites that feature the Champagne Tower and those that don’t. This visual guide will help ensure you book the exact room you desire.

I recently stayed at Pocono palace and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite paying extra for rose petals, I was disappointed to find only a few scattered across the room, and they were visibly wilted. It was clear that little effort was made to ensure their freshness.Furthermore, the condition of the room left much to be desired. Stains on the floor were a notable eyesore, indicating a lack of attention to cleanliness. Additionally, the jacuzzi, which should have been a highlight of the stay, was not properly maintained. Not only was it devoid of water, but its cleanliness was questionable.

We stayed in the most expensive sweet, had a nice time until we found ROACHES! disgusting, went to the front desk very nicely asked for the manager to call us when she came in. Scared they might also have bedbugs, we skipped the included breakfast left and washed all of our things. Manager has been dodging our calls for over a week! Glad this place is closing

The over stay was good but they did not show us the room neither did they check the room when we were checking out later they charged our card with $150 saying there was a bluetooth speaker missing which was never in the room to start with. Some one should check the room before giving and check it during checkout. I am very uphappy with this kind of ripoff.

For lovers of kitsch, this resort is a real treat. I’m so sad they’re closing next month!!Visited for one night in a Roman tower suite, loved it! Room was surprisingly clean and had a lot of amenities including: coupe glass jacuzzi, heart-shaped hot tub, TVs on each floor, twinkle lights in the ceiling above the round bed, Bluetooth sound system, shower with bench, and even a sauna. Also had two meals (breakfast and dinner) at the restaurant on-site. For the price, it was good! Nice quantity of food and really friendly service. This place is a healthy mix of deliciously cheesy, vintage, kitschy, and liminal. A true gem of lube, dust, and love.

As the "across-Echo-Lake property neighbors, we absolutely loved the meal tonight, touring around PP, and loving the best resort in the Poconos. Absolutely the best resort! Horrible and sadly it's being "sold out" to an international group and so many will lose their jobs. Horrible. 🤬😢 This resort should be still what it is - an amazing place for so many to stay and love. There's too little of that anymore but apparently money 💰 spoke regardless of the hurt. Outstanding staff and our hearts break for them of this classic beautiful Middle Smithfield Twp key place. So sad what was allowed to be done. 💔Next door property neighborsSteve and Sue.

Unfortunately in May of 2024 the resort will be sold. Not sure of what the plans are for it. But it was our favorite place to stay and we will definitely miss it.

My husband and I decided to come here for our 2 year anniversary. This has been the best trip ever. The rooms and grounds are stunning. Food has been amazing and it's just an all in all romantic place to be. Our 1st time here and won't be the last. 100% satisfaction across the board.

The customer service is trash, the food wasn’t that great either, on top of the pool in the room being dirty, for the price you pay that’s wild. You get a buffet of whatever’s left over after everyone’s paws have been in it so first come first serve. If you need any help or order anything ahead of time don’t cause you won’t receive it and they will give you a hard time trying to reimburse you. If you get it on a discount then it’s worth it but for the price of a night and what they have to offer your better off spending your money somewhere else.

Rooms dated, but clean enough. Awesome amenities champagne tower, hot tub and sauna. Hot tub could of used repair and paint but still functional and nice. Ceiling fan about to drop out of ceiling but not necessary to use. Rooms look great still. Tvs dated, there was no hdmi connections with a usb port for power. So connecting a roku or fire stick was virtually impossible cool if your staying 1 or 2 nights but any longer and tv channels would be boring. Round bed cool but hard to get out of at times. Being able to control the temperature of the room and water was great. Hot water almost instant. Room temperature control up and downstairs great. Nice touch. Parking close to room big plus. Overall nice experience. Dining in restaurant was pleasant most days. Had one server who was was extremely poor, she left to go order at bar, took tip that was actually money for bill, (found that out by front desk), she just want polished or attentive a the other 3 wait staff. I have one more night here so I'll see if she was an anomaly or characteristic of the staff but I believe she was truly NOT indicative of the staff at Pocono Palace Resort. The room cleaning staff was great. We didn't have to use them much but they came by and extremely polite and helpful.

My partner and I stayed here for my birthday and it was a super relaxing trip! We stayed in the champagne tower suite and the room was wonderful! We loved all of the amenities! We also received a couples massage and that was fantastic! The massage was so nice and relaxing and the massage therapists were incredible and super accommodating! For the most part everything was great. One thing that I wanted to note was the food... Spooners was awesome! The dining hall was hit or miss. We had some meals that were delicious and others we could not finish. Lastly, the front desk staff... the morning of March 12th at 11am, the African American lady at the front desk was not nice at all. Extremely rude and is clearly in need of some customer service training. I was shocked and disappointed because all of the other staff were exceptional! Sad that you have her working there and leaving a bad taste in people's mouths at checkout. Other than that this place was great and I will certainly return to stay in some of the other rooms!

Exuding the relaxed atmosphere of a private club, Pocono Palace Resort is a romantic retreat on private Echo Lake in the heart of the Pocono Mountains - only an hour drive from the George Washington Bridge. A favorite of couples and honeymooners, this four-season resort property features 189 suites, two restaurants, a bar and the Applause Nightclub. With recent upgrades made around the property, including updates made to all 7 suite-types, guests are finding the Pocono Palace experience even more exciting than ever-before. Guests gather at the Indoor Activity Zone for racquetball, basketball, mini golf, tennis, billiards and arcade games, while spa-goers unwind in the Spa, where a menu of massages, aromatherapy wraps and other services promote relaxation and wellness. We had booked the Roman tower...The most expensive and the view was great..But the sad part was the ROMAN TOWER needs to be renovated..Wall paper stained and ripped.Water tanks were drained...There wasn't hot water for the room's pool and champagne bath tub ....They don't have smart TVs.The carpet wasn't clean and it was too old ..$$$$

Didn't stay here just visited before they close. It was our first time here, and we both enjoyed it. We looked around the whole premises and stopped by the gift shop to pick up a few souvenirs. Sad to hear this place is closing, especially when the poconos is known for its heart-shaped tubs & honeymooners. What resort will close next???🤦‍♀️

The buildings are old we had to switch rooms bc of numerous problems including ants in the room which was the last straw. I don't recommend the dinner package the food is hit or miss. Sometimes amazing, sometimes dry and old or they are out of items including ALL desserts. The hours are rly limited on some nights dinner is 6-730pm. Breakfast is great usually fresh and LOTS of selections. I wld stick to champagne glass or roman tower rooms bc they are well kept up. Check your pool immediately upon checking in to make sure it's full enough to be filtering and is clean. Whirl pool tubs in the older rooms pour out rusty water. If u cycle them through a cpl times u can clean them yourself. I've been here 4 times I do like the place but it needs more organization when it comes to maintenance upkeep. Housekeeping is not going to be able to maintain all features of the room. Rooms however are very unique and the property and activities are very nice. Very friendly staff especially in the dining room.

The place was good, romantic and perfect for couples. But honestly very disappointed with the front desk service. The worst experience with the rude Hispanic front desk lady. She definitely needs training in how to speak and treat guests and just because of her I will not go back. Here is a pic of her..

Previously stayed at Paradise Stream and thought to try Pocono Palace. While the activities, crowd, entertainment was a much more enjoyable and fun experience vs Paradise Stream. The room was extremely disappointing. We stayed in room 328, Thursday-Sunday. The photos on the web are absolutely fake to what we actually had. It represented wood floors, cleanliness and updated room. My shower was actually tilting and sinking into the floor, I have vertigo and felt I was balancing myself in the shower. I reported this to the front desk Fri early afternoon and was told maintenance would come. No one came, no one called or made any effort to follow-up. The mirror was filthy, the carpet was filthy, we had to buy multiple plug in’s as the odor of the room was atrocious. The bed was actually broke in the middle and you sank into it. It’s just very disgusting to pay $566 a night and this is the kind of stay you receive.

I stayed at the fairway suite and it is severely outdated. There’s stains on the bed and the walls look so old and rusty. Nothing modern here. For the amount of money I paid and they charge here, I expect way more than this. I will never come to this place again.

i saw this place on tiktok & thought it would be a great romantic getaway for me & my fiance.. WRONG. we stayed in the fairway suites, paid almost $600 for it to look like it was from the 70's & it was a lot smaller than what the pictures implied. the whirlpool tub was nice until the water drained & there was disgusting unknown brown stuff all over the edges.. for an adults only resort it was very child like. you pay all that money for just the room alone but almost everything else is extra & super expensive. the area this resort is located in is also kind of garbage, not much to do unless you drive 30 minutes any other direction.for a couple in their early 20's i do NOT recommend staying here - complete waste of money.

After reading many reviews, I decided to book here for a couples birthday trip and I'm so glad I did! Though a little dated the lodge definitely felt cozy and charming with fireplaces all over and many places to take photos. The front desk staff was friendly when we checked in and we were even able to get in a little early. The room was clean and everything was thought of! We loved the speaker and matches and the cute gift shop! The only disappointment was the very short round of bingo and waking up to some ants in our room after leaving a plate out overnight. I would suggest packing bug spray next time just in case. I was curious how breakfast was going to be and even though the buffet the first day was ok, we really enjoyed the a la carte option our last morning. We loved our view from the dining room and Justin our server was AMAZING. He was so kind and kept checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall we plan on visiting again one day.

What made this a great place was being there with my husband. The place is overall seriously outdated. For the money we paid we should expect clean carpets and lights to be working. Above our in room pool the walls around the pool were disgusting. The carpets look like they were put in back in 1970. For the 1300.00 we paid for 2 nights it should be completely renovated. We been to Cove Haven twice and it was much cleaner! Pocono Palace was not worth it.

I’m giving three stars for the room because the bathroom heater was not working and it was extremely cold in the bathroom. The hot water wasn’t really hot it was only warm for the entire weekend. On Saturday we lost the hot water for about two hours although they did act on the problem quickly.

We had a pleasant, comfortable and wonderful experience during our stay with very minor suggestions of the upkeep of their rooms. We had Jordan for our server at echo lake diner and she was wonderful with a great personality and attentive. Courtney (not sure of spelling ) was extremely funny while hosting games and he interacted with everyone well. Definitely somewhere we would go again for a romantic weekend

I stood here for my spouses birthday Jan 2024 and I must say I Am disappointed I didn't grab a chance to read the reviews. As said prior the rooms are completely outdated! Seriously this is just an expensive motel with a few extra amenities. The customer service I must say from the Individuals I encountered were pleasant. Our waiters Analiese and Carlos. The food however is NOT GOOD AT ALL! We booked the champagne tower along with extra details; meaning having the room set up with candles and rose petal's all over up to the bedroom , along with champagne. Check in was at 3:30pm and although getting there early I had to wait until about 4:20 stating they are working on getting things set and nothing was set up just a few petals around. For the amount of money paid I would have preferred to stay in a completely different establishment altogether. The water pressure in the bathroom was insane literally like a trickle of water. The bluetooth radio did not work. The fireplace did not work, also you can tell there is no chimney up keep as there is soot along the trimmings. Wall paper peeling, stains on the mirrors, some slight gunk coming out of jacuzzi jets. The upside to this was bed was made and had clean sheets and towels. There are things to do but again as said in other reviews a bit cheesy. We definitely will not stay here again. Definitely just invest your establishment. The right idea but needs a lot of work. Also please please please UPDATE the PICTURES online. NOT AT ALL what you walk into.

My wife and I had an amazing time, the staff was professional, kind and attentive. The food was good could of been better, the live entertainment was good. I did leave a note on my door for housekeeping to clean my room while we were out on Saturday and it was not cleaned but not a big deal we checked out Sunday. It snowed and the pavement and walk way was paved that was great. A special shout out to Courtney he was GREAT has the host of freaky feud.

Fun games, bar bingo, Tune Saloon and Freaky Feud led by Courtney, he was quick with a joke, his response made it a great time. Everyone that worked there was polite and helpful, except for one lady at the front desk I wish I had gotten her name she was the only one that should not be employed there.

booked a 5 day romantic getaway package including meals and the new years bash.upon arrival was told our room wasnt ready yet.over a 3 hour drive and 40 mins past check in time we finally got to our room.room was very clean but, could of used a few updates.wall paneling up the stairway and upstairs was split open at every seam.holes patched on wall up stairway was hideous and very unprofessionally installed.whole room had a musty smell and carpets were very outdated.for the money they charged i expected a more moden/updated room.also for the money paid i wouldnt have expected to have to buy my own wine glasses/champagne /bubble bath for jacuzzi/sauna and firestarter to use fireplace..really?cant supply 1 bottle of a $1.00 bubble bath?atleast 1 duraflame pack{not allowed to use wood in fire places).dinner options were very limited and the food was horrible.although, i must say our 1st dinner was awesome.def 5 star..after that was just horrible and mainly same dinner options each night.new years party was so uncordinated.after paying as part of the package still had to sign up earlier that day to gaurantee a table(as part of a package woudnt that be a gaurantee)lol..the band they had for the new years party just didnt fit the occasion.not that the band was good or bad was just a senior citizen cover band doing a variety of music...such as bruno mars/queen/justin timberlake/ac dc/etc...more like your grandfathers birthday party band.even the comedian was horrible.another senior citizen that used everyone elses material.he just didnt fit the occasion aswell.quit a few there had commented on the resort catering to the seniors and older crowd.while most resorts/resuarants/etc are updating/renovating for a younger crowd the resort is like going threw a time capsule.was very few older/seniors there.was a mixed crowd mainly 50 years of age or younger..average was about 25-40....the resort is very uncommidating to those not a senior.the staff was very friendly..ladies at the front desk need appreciation...especially beth....she did make our stay not as bad with her personality and positive nature.for the money and lack of updates i wouldnt recommend the resort at all.its obvious they just want your money.i never been to any other resorts where the rooms are so run down and cant even supply a cheap bottle of bubble bath/champagne/1 pack of duraflame or even wine glasses..its a romantic couples getaway right?..so they advertise.lol...save your money...go anyplace else!!!update...i thank the resort for taking the time to respond.as you can see the lack of their concern.it only saddens them to hear about my experience and disregarded what saddend me..no attempt to try to make things right.offer any money back..etc...but i can pay premium prices again to encounter the same negative experience...trust them?lolol.their working on it...lol..i didnt wanna write all negative, but for price they charge and what they offer is nothing but negative.although the staff were very friendly.i even complimented my 1st meal.i just assumed the janitor cooked the rest of the meals. what the resort charges and what it delivers isnt worth half the cost.been to alot of much more posh places/resorts for alot less that offered alot more..it saddened me i had to buy my own candles/wine glasses/champagne/firestarter/and bubble bath for the jacuzzi and stay at a run down suite at champagne towers .i guess that didnt sadden them..def false advertisement...not a romantic get away at all...just a money scam!!!

We went for new years like we have been doing for the past 3 years. Food as always is amazing. The entertainment was great too as well as the New Year’s Eve party and the staff are awesome! The rooms definitely need to be updated. The amount of money it costs for a weekend alone could update the rooms in no time. Looking forward to next years new years eve with updated rooms!

This is a nice hotel to slow you don't and allow you time eith your significant other. The crowd is very much 50+ year old. The rooms are very dated but serve the purpose and are unique. Being a younger crowd does kinda make it harder since it's a large age difference. It could use a good overhaul new painting updating the colors the wallpaper refresh some things. Mirrors have chips and are worn out in places. Pools could use a good cleaning on the nozzles and jets. Jacuzzis could use pipes cleaned etc.The indoor activities seemed fine. The bar was nice. The front end staff didn't seem to thrilled to be working and weren't a players when it comes to customer service. The dining room food down right sucks. Everything we had was horrible and we were there for 2 nights over new years. The salad bar had old salad in the bowls. The food itself was bland or just didn't taste good. It all comes out with lids on it so it isn't fresh it's batch made etc. The crab soup was like tomato soup with crab and cinnamon. The waitresses are very prompt and friendly. The amount of uneaten food going back because no one like it was astonishing. The dessert buffet was all frozen pre-made desserts. They need to get a real gourmet chef in to make some good food not microwave type food. The sad part is your forced to buy in to the meals they don't offer a stay with no meals. You have to atleast get breakfast which we never had due to getting up at 10a. I'm surprised they don't offer breakfast later since they have events later and what not. I'm also surprised that they had a midnight buffet that looked less than appetizing until 115 but checkout was still 11am. Most places that had new years parties had later checkouts due to being up later etc. I think the resort has potential and helps set the mood but it lacks at being a true resort that has all on premises amenities. We ate out for most meals. I think soon they are going to need to do something as others around us said similar things and said that over the years it's gone down hill. Also it was a struggle to get supplies like towels etce replenished took us multiple calls etc before we could get anything which was disappointing.

I bought my husband here for his birthday and it was a lot of details they left out when I booked it. I paid for the Roman Tower and I did not get room service unto my day 3. I had to put in a request for housekeeping. For the price you pay, you shouldn't have to ask for bubble bath, logs for the fire place, etc. The food was horrible!!!. For the New Years party, we had to stand in line just to get a table. The band played old 50s songs, and a little bit of updated songs. This is our first time here and we will never come back! This not only for his birthday but our anniversary. The up keep on the rooms looked like a Red Roof Inn. Stands on the walls in the bathroom, shower, jacuzzi, molding peeling off, etc. I could have stayed in DC and had a better room and charged less money and the food would have tasted better. I would not recommend anyone to any of their resorts. Very, very, disappointed customer!!!!!

What a fun and pleasantly surprising place to go to! First off lets me say the rooms (although a smidge dated) were very clean! That a huge thing we look for in a hotel. Second there is a lot to do, from hourly activity’s to all the amenities that the place has to offer you could really spend a solid amount of time exploring. We only stayed the night but were talking about how it would be a fun place to visit in the summer time! Please keep in mind that this place really feels like you are somewhat stepping back in time to the 1960s because the main lobby resembles that of what you would have seen in the resort of ‘Dirty Dancing’. The old vintage charm was not lost and it was fun to feel like we were going back in time (a time my boyfriend and I are definitely not from). Over all if you are looking for a place that is clean and will check off a bucket list of themed hotel, we would recommend!

Not sure what it is about this place, but it sure is magical. Perfect recipe for couples wanting a romantic getaway. It does not look fancy at first glance. But you certainly feel like royalty here. I'm definitely coming back at least once a year.

I went the same week to Cove Haven and Pocono Palace Resort for my honeymoon. At Pocono Palace Resort, they messed up my room key and gave me a wrong one, they also charged me twice the amount of $75 that they put on hold on your card in case of any incident. They shouldn’t put new in training employees to work by themselves if they don’t know how to do things properly.

Dirty , my room had bed bugs. The resturant was disgusting and the food was disgusting. I wrote a review before and it got deleted so here I am years later and STILL haven’t got my money back like how the management team said I was going too.Overall the location is in the woods and it was nice feeding the deer’s. At least something was beautiful during the trip.

From one business owner to another job well done! My girlfriend and I decided to do something different for Thanksgiving, something all inclusive. Anthony our server at the restaurant was amazing and the host Jason was just as great! The champagne tower was absolutely incredible. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. We will definitely be back!

The room itself was good. Very Secluded and private. The water stops being hot after a certain time which was annoying. If u get the bubbles for the hot tub in rooms only use one scoop bc it's makes a mess. Better off not paying extra for the packages bc u can get everything cheaper up the store. Jacuzzi with pool is not that hot. More like room temp. Steam room does not work and the so called gym area doesn't even have weights. Now for the restaurant it was terrible. Save your money . They seat you very close together. To the point you are breathing down their necks. Food tastes like microwavable food. Steak n chicken tastes like something you get at McDonald's. ALSO seen a mouse trap n bug spray underneath salad bar.

Overall, this place was very nice. Breakfast was included in our stay. We stayed 4 days 3 nights. We did not ask for our room to be clean until our last day there. The request was made in the morning. Our room sheets and towels were not changed until 7 PM. When asked at the front desk why it is taking so long to service our room when 12 noon came. we were told that the rooms that are now empty must be clean first. This was on a Sunday. No one was going to rent those rooms in our section (446). Our room could have been clean first since we were still there. I'm not happy with this reason or delay. Doing the day, my wife and I spend the day out of the room waiting for it to be clean. We spend our time walking the grounds in the rain and taking photos near the signs around the grounds. Every area had a selfy stand, but the stand to hold the phone was either broken or missing. Other than this, we had a great time.

Sabrina & Diane at front desk are wonderful- Hady cxo was excellentBowling was added in the game room since our last visit, a great addition.Servers in the dining room namely GiGi, Analise,Jordon, Naomi were great, should be commended. Food did not disappoint! The pool tables only 3 good cue sticks all the others had no tips,You think they could at leastrepair them for what they charge in service charges, isn't that what the outrageous service charge is for?we were visited last August and the row boats don't have oar locks - please repair them.need to revise the policy of no containers for leftovers, forcing the servers to be their police force to enforce this bad policy, no excuse of food poisoning there are refrigerators in the rooms and microwave near game room- Spooners closes early and want the little leftover dinner for later--JUST BAD POLICYoverall a good time for couples,

Awesome lil weekend getaway place. Location is gorgeous, lake was epic ,grounds well kept. My complaints are in the room we had which this time was the smallest I think number 460. One outlet in the whole room, definitely inconvenient . The staff in the dining hall are awesome very nice and accommodating. The one bad egg is definitely the front desk run by the KAREN OF ALL KARENS!!! DIANE...who when she wasn't making fun of other guests was rude and had no personality. I asked where I could purchase a coffee at 9am she told me I couldn't and then with all the sarcasm of a Karen tells me there is a coffee maker in the room if I could figure it out. Lol...As if I'm not capable. Took offense but still held my tongue. Then my wife asked the next day if she could possibly charge her phone ,which Karen states do u want me to answer it too. Again with the sarcasm only Karen's pull off. This woman should not be in customer service at all. Her Co Karen at the desk is no better the way they bash the guest for body shamming or there hair. I sat waiting for my wife and listened for about 15min as they just disrespect guest after guest all while laughing..But don't let that ruin your weekend. Great place besides the front desk of Karens..

Update: October 13th, 2023 Just wanted to update my review. As of today, 4 years later, I've gotten no return call nor a letter or email in regards to answering my complaint, not even a sorry. It is really a shame that management is that way and disregards complaints. We really would have liked to return for another visit but not to be treated like that with the price of the rooms for a night.August 2019 It was horrible !!! Our room was the Roman towers , and when we arrived, there was a plunger outfront of our room in the grass for the entire time of our stay. There was trash in grass that someone dumped an was never picked up...we had a nice stereo in our room which didnt work we got maintainence in an it worked for 5 mins ot was wired into the pool room we had in our room but while we sat in pool the music shut off an couldnt get it back on so we called again an no one came so I just said to my gf that I would just buy a bluetooth speaker an that is what we did . The pool jets weren't working half of them did the other half didnt....there were Mark's on mirrors that were circular which I believe someone had a sex toy stuck too the mirror in several spots an it left marks...the curtains in the loft area were stained an the ceiling panels with the stars on were burned out some of the panels in ceiling were completely burned out...I'd say over 50% of the star lights were working it's a shame was there years ago an it was great....but to spend as much as we did for 1 night an they advertised recently updated it was a let down .....wrote to the property several times an tried calling an have had no reply either by phone or email so I feel they aren't worried about providing there guests with a great time an a memory that you will never forget in fact when we were there staff was rude an not too helpful when we had questions so I hope this helps!!! It is sad that this place isnt the same as in the 90s also the bulbs in sauna were blown so we didnt get what they advertised our room as ....the guest service department is a joke again due to thier inability to at least apologize for the unacceptable conditions we had an maybe give is a discount an they will make sure this time everything is up to what they say in their advertisements but it's been almost or about 10 months were were thoer for my fiance's birthday at end of august 2019

My fiancée and I had a blast here! The service was courteous, the main pool being 24h was amazing and clean and even our suite was clean too! The Roman Tower suite was absolutely breathtaking and the pictures did not do it enough justice. The pool was clean, jacuzzi was clean, everything was clean. The shower was a bit scratched up and there was leftover food from the past couple who occupied the same suite but overall was clean and enjoyable. When we first checked in we thought we were going to see the balloons and the red velvet cake we ordered and we didn’t see it. We went to see a movie and was away and when we came back, it was there and was taken by surprise. The red velvet cake was really tasty and we’re glad we got it. Ordering our food from Spooner’s Grill was easy and tasty. There’s only so much I can put into this review before it turning into a full report… My fiancée and I will definitely be returning next year!

Overall the staff was very nice, with the exception of one front desk employee. The food was terrible, bland & overcooked, cold coffee at dessert. You would be better off eating elsewhere. When you first walk in the Roman Tower room, it's looks wonderful, but it doesn't take much time to realize it's dated and requires some TLC. There are many patches throughout the room, from the seating area, through the private pool up the stairs, in the champagne glass jacuzzi to the shower floor. I had to clean the jacuzzi before getting in, and the jets ended up pushing some gross stuff out, so we had to get out. There's no microwave in the room, but it does have an 80's style stero component. Unfortunately, it rained the weekend I was there, so I can not comment on any outdoor amenities. I won't return.

My wife surprised me with booking a 2 night stay here for a little getaway to PA. Was happy with everything, tho its a bit out dated, but room and amenities were all in working order, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to book again here. Also saw a concert (Gold dust women) and on another night saw a solo performer, both were awesome, and had the liberty of speaking to the gentleman performing solo, really made for an enjoyable night out.

A land of failed promises, at the time of booking and on the website you will find everyone to be extremely nice, but once you reach here it's not the case. We were told they have Vegetarian, and Gluten free food, however their food was terrible, breakfast has no gf items, we had to go to a nearby town everyday to eat. My SO took a package where we were supposed to find a room filled with rose petals, and non-alcoholic cider, we were greeted with 2 dollar store glasses, 7 dollar Alcoholic Cider (we had told them again and again about our request), and white petals (weirdly land of failed promises couldn't get red petals, there charge for this package $180, it was reduced to $103, after pointing this out, still overpriced and not worth it), the only good part about the journey, my SO,One will so many better places to go, looks for quirky Airbnb's, your money would be better spent.

The room was very outdated and not clean. The carpet was nasty and we had to place a towel in the shower because it looked dirty. Then the bed was vibrating on and off all night because of some pump they had running. I have been coming here for years and this was pretty bad. I emailed them but they don’t even care to respond to a 30 year customer. I don’t get it. This resort doesn’t really care about the people just getting the money. It is terrible. They do nothing to try to make it up to you. This was once a great place with really good food and friendly staff, now the rooms are dirty and the food sucks and the employees aren’t as nice as they used to be. Damn shame

I would like to start off by saying that you need to retrain your front desk.I had booked a two night stay (FYI this isnt our first visit)at the lake chalet with my husband and friends for my birthday, and upon my friends arriving, Sabrina was rude and had an attitude at check in.I needed information regarding the spaSo after our breakfast on Monday morning exactly at 10:45am I approached the desk and Melissa attitude was disgusting. She happened to be on the phone, which I didn't see until I stood in front of her, and as I greeted her with a"GOOD MORNING MELISSA " she put her fingers up in the air, basically trying to tell me she is on the phone . I found that disgusting. I have worked in customer service for 7 plus years, and that is by far the way you handle the situation. I am an independent contractor NAIL TECHNICIAN, to be exact, and I would never treat anyone like that. As the face of this BIG CORPORATION, she shouldn't be in the front . This isn't the first time I've had a bad interaction with Melissa. However, it is the first time I write about her disgusting ways on Google reviews. As I read other people's experiences with Melissa, I still didn't understand how such a BIG CORPORATION have someone as Melissa working the front desk. As I asked questions as to who his manager was so I could speak with, I then qas told Melissa was a supervisor. Now I see why she is still working with this company. She is a supervisor, so of course, her actions get swept under rug, and she is still allowed to work and get a check. Clearly, you can tell she is there just to collect a check and not have the company best interest.Servers are amazing they are the one you need to have working the front desk . They are a true definition of what customer service should be. Anthony, kyle, and Annalise were amazing. They deserve some gratitude. However, Laura checking the temperature of the food needs more work on how to be patient with people. As my husband os serving his breakfast instead of waiting for him to first serve himself his breakfast she take the lid off the potatoes and looks at him in a nasty way and says "go" as if he was the one in wrong. There is a timely manner in which things could have been handled during our stay, and it just wasn't handled properly. I won't be surprised on our next visit. We get treated the same. Since I'm looking at reviews as old and 7 months and it has been an ongoing issue. Besides that I enjoyed all the activities.

We visited for a mini-honeymoon and were averagely satisfied. The room itself was actually very outdated, which could be charming if the staff, service, and amenities carried more enthusiasm. The resort energy felt deflated, and like it was trying to be something it really isn't- enticing, sensual, and modern. Fun for the heart pool and champagne tower tub, but the entire resort could use a physical and energetic makeover while maintaining the love motel experience.

The rooms are clean and cozy. Lots of activities to do. Some of the equipment has wear and tear and should be replaced. With the exception of maybe a handful, the staff is not very friendly nor helpful. Dinners were good, except the steak was too fatty to eat. Breakfast wasn't anything more than a usual hotel continental breakfast. Host staff was very pleasant but wait staff pretty much ignores you unless you order alcohol. All in all, it was a good stay but not sure we will return.

My wife and I had an absolute blast at this resort! We would definitely recommend staying out here. We plan on making this a yearly trip. The arcade room was fun and if you go at night there's really no one in there. Plenty of things to do that's for sure. I would also like to add in the part about having some random charge from the lounge to our room. It was quickly resolved but make sure to ask about the charge. Maybe should show proof of the room card when people have things charged to rooms. We paid all in cash, so we never charged anything

My wife and I went there for our anniversary in the Champagne suite. We loved the beautiful location. The main attraction is the room which was beautiful aside from needing some small updating. A couple of chips in the paint missing from the tub and pool, the A/C probably needs maintained and the mattresses need updating. The service was impeccable overall and it was great having transportation around the resort to and from different activities. Food was great as well and loved having the intimate atmosphere where my wife and I reconnected. Overall we still loved our visit and look forward to going again.

1st I'd like to say that the staff at Cove Haven were very helpful and friendly. Everyone was smiling every day and made us feel welcome. We also really enjoyed the games and activities at Spooners. That being said we were very dissapointed in the condition of our suite. It was very dated and poorly maintained. The pool area was terrible looking, we tried to use the hot tub, filled it half way, got in and the water ran out of the tub , down the wall and steps and into the bedroom area so we spent the next hour cleaning up the water. We didnt use the hot tub for the rest of our stay and we were really looking forward to that part of the room. There was a bose speaker system in the suite that didnt work at all. It appeared that there was a problem with the fireplace at one time or there was a fire and smoke damage. Someone attempted to paint over it but it looked terrible. For what we paid for this stay we were very dissapointed in our room and would'nt stay there again.

Where do I begin... after check-in, we arrived at our room and found a half eaten bag of trash in front of our door with a really large raccoon close to the building. I should have gotten a pic of him, but I really didn't think the quality of the weekend would be this bad. We go into our room and look around. The "king size" bed is not as described, nowhere near king. The private pool had a lot of white stuff floating on top. The sauna was not operational at all.The floors were filthy to the point that I refused to walk on it without socks or shoes. The dinner on Friday night was horrible. We had the stuffed trout that was dried up and hard around the edges like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for an extended period of time. Not to mention, the crab stuffing was a nasty tasting mushy mess. The waitress that served our table was very nice.Saturday morning we went to the coliseum for breakfast, it was a nice spread however the eggs were dried up and everything else was cold. So.... we decided to go out for breakfast. We went back to our room and made sure the door hanger requested a room clean and new towels. We went out for breakfast and a short drive to enjoy the scenery. We got back a while later and realized our room was not cleaned yet, so we go to Spooners for a light lunch to give the cleaning crew a little more time. Got done our meal ( the best one all weekend), and were almost side swiped by the maintenance guy in the black Ram. Obviously, that is all he does is drive around all day, by the looks of the upkeep and condition of the resort and the fact that's what we observed. So we get back to our room and still no clean towels or sheets. There is no one in sight to clean the room. There was a cart of towels outside of another guest's room near a crusty trash can, so we assumed they would be there shortly. Luckily we had brought our own towels to dry off after we were back from the pedal boats which we didn't use because ,even though it states that they have them at Cove Haven, they did not. We were going to have to travel over an hour away to Paradise Stream in order to do that activity.Around 10 p.m., we still had not received any linens or cleaning of our room. This is when I called the front desk and got no answer. At this point, we decided we were not going to stick around for the crappy breakfast and check out early. I should have done my homework on this place, but I took word of mouth from a couple of friends. After looking at past reviews, I realized exactly what the negative reviews were referring to. I also noted that they didn't offer even a partial refund for the disappointing stay and false advertising that they spew. This is without a doubt the worst experience we have had and the worst anniversary due to the inadequacies of this so-called resort! I would suggest going anywhere else but here. It is not worth the money/time/or energy. I have added pictures to prove that this review is not exaggerated in any way. I just wish I could give Zero stars.....It is definitely not the "Land of Love." it's the love of your money.

Cove Haven is truly a special place. My fiance and I went to celebrate our 4 year anniversary and had a wonderful time. We had the champagne glass suite and our suite was clean however it could use some TLC. Nothing major just cleaning up some older mirrors and some recaulking on the tiles around the pool and tub. I do think the food could use some work. I was expecting better quality given the price but I'm not mad about it because I know the effort is there. The staff was great. Lots of people who genuinely care about the guest and their jobs. One supervisor named Adam if I remember correctly was spectacular. He was helping out everywhere. He was at the bar and grille at lunch waiting us and then in the dining room for dinner too. It was such a cool experience. Deer came up to us and ate corn out of our hands. I hope this place continues to get better, it would be ashame to see something so great close. It has a lot of potential. I know it wasn't total perfection but they really do deserve a 5 star review because they are trying their best and it doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you to everyone at Cove Haven.

The room was dirty and not very well maintained. I just wish it was a little cleaner. There were empty alcohol caps left out in the bathroom when we got there. The bathtub was also very dirty and the jets were gross. The staff was very nice and overall it is a nice place but it is expensive for what you are getting with the room. Compared to other hotels in the area it is more expensive and for that price I just wish the room was cleaner.

Cove Haven hasn't been updated enough for years. We used to go all the time and then stopped for a few years. We decided to try it again, and that was a mistake. Rooms and property are still worn. More of a disappointment was the food. Absolutely horrible. And for the price you pay on the weekend, I'd expect executive chef type of food. It almost felt like it was pre-cooked elsewhere and brought in, heated up and served. Why else would all the dinner plates have the room service type of lids on all of them even though you can't get room service. We will never go back to any of the properties, especially Cove Haven. Highly recommend finding another "couples only" option.

Once arrived, checked in and looked around the lobby, facility, and room everything was clean. The waitress and the waiter were excellent they had such a sense of humor. Also, they kept it very professional. The music was so relaxing, I really enjoyed myself. I told my husband that I would like to come back.Thank you, Team!

I'm very saddened to leave a negative review as I had waited months for my reservation that took place on 02/26 and was for my first year anniversary that was supposed to be for 2 nights, HOWEVER, I called the resort three times to be sure that my diet restrictions were posted as I have celiac disease and therefore very limited. When we finally arrived to our dinner reservations, the restaurant was indeed full and it seemed to have intimidated the servers. My server was at my table for less than a minute before scurrying to the next and I didn't have any time to explain my restrictions as I couldn't find the server again until he returned with the food. The menu is not notated whatsoever regarding whether something is GF, or not. I ordered something that read as safe, but had to leave shortly after taking a few bites as it started one of the worst celiac reactions i've ever had. What was supposed to be a relaxing 2 day anniversary vacation became the worst hotel experience i've ever withstood. I was viciously vomiting in the room for hours (Our dinner reservation was at 7:30) We ended up driving home at 11pm after the sickness didn't improve and got back home around 2am. We did not even get to stay ONE night, and it RUINED my anniversary. They refunded us for only one night and was charged $355 for that awful experience !! I feel robbed! Not to mention that the food costed $80 and it was served in a hospital container, and 100000% not fresh or worth the money they charge you. The music was also so loud we couldn't enjoy a conversation. Other than that awful dinner experience, the rooms are gorgeous!! Perfectly clean, the housekeepers here are amazing. I strongly recommend only staying one night if you choose this location, or else you may starve hahah

I've wanted to come here for a while now. I saw mixed reviews & was initially hesitant to drop serious $$ for a weekend stay. However, I was pleasantly surprised.A lot of people mention rooms are often not ready upon check-in. Ours wasn't, but it wasn't a big deal for us. We decided to go play pool, bowling & Bingo while we waited. And if you think about it, you want them to take their time cleaning each suite. You want a thorough cleaning. We stayed in the Garden of Eden. We loved our suite. Our heart-shaped jacuzzi was used a ton, especially since it was so cold outside. We loved our private pool as well. And the bathroom was very spacious. The round bed was very comfortable. Some people complained in other reviews that a flat sheet was used instead of a fitted sheet. It wasn't a problem for us at all.Are updates needed around the resort? Yes, but nothing that affected our stay. We had much needed quality time & enjoyed the activities offered. If you want to get up close & personal with deer, then this is the place for you! I hand fed several does. It was so much fun! You can buy deer feed at the gift shop. Definitely worth it!Dining: dinner wasn't out of this world but it was decent. Salad bar was good. Breakfast was our favorite meal. You can make reservations with host. Service was great. All in all, we encountered very friendly staff.Definitely get a duraflame log for your fireplace. It was a wonderful romantic setting. We plan on returning when the weather warms up a bit. It was an expensive experience, however, the quality time we spent together is priceless.

We love Cove Haven! My parents came on their honeymoon, so our first visit was for our honeymoon. So we had to come back, it took 15 years later but we made it back! We absolutely love the staff, activities, food, rooms and the location! I completely enjoyed the entertainment especially Jon D! He made “the guy in the orange shirt” a very happy man and made our experience one to remember!! We can’t wait to finally become Forever Lovers! Next time we are bringing my daughter and her Husband!!

If you value your money and time please don’t visit this place… straight trash. Hour wait after check in time. Only reason we found out was cause I stood in line a second time for 25+ mins to ask if the room was ready and 1 hour and 4 minutes later the room was ready. After. 6 hour drive having to wait an hour for a room that was booked is down right unheard of and unprofessional. The suite we got is infested with lady bugs and nothing is done about it. It’s my fiancé’s birthday on Tuesday and she’s destroyed, cried the entire second night we were here.No moving us to another room no discount no anything Strike 2. Third strike the skinny lady for house keeping put the same sheets back on the bed after acting like she changed the sheets and towels. Not worth the money. This place is a money grab, unprofessional and not sanitary at all. If your thinking about this place it’s a cozy place to spend time with a significant other if you don’t mind over spending on the bare minimum and a cheap room. The caulking around the hot tub is missing and there’s gaps the hot tub needs to be repaired it drains constantly the shade in the living room area is broken the sauna doesn’t work and we paid 21- 22 hundred dollars. NEVER AGAIN AND IF I WAS YOU I WOULDN'T EITHER. But don’t take my word come spend and see for yourself. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND DONT I MEAN DONT VISIT THIS PLACE.

My wife and I stayed here in late January. Overall we both had a great time. The room was the main attraction since we had a pool and jacuzzi in it. The food was decent (could be better) and the drinks were mediocre at best. They were over priced and watered down. I switched to beer because it just made more sense.Other than that we had a blast with all the activities on the grounds. We mostly drank, played duck pin bowling and pool. Then saw a stand up comedian and a sick band in the bar off the lake. The night club was closed which we wish we were told this. All in all, kind of pricey but still a cool experience. We want to go back in the spring or summer so we can enjoy all the other cool activities like renting boats/paddle boards and hiking.

We got a room with a private heated pool a and private sauna. When we first turned on the sauna, it smelled so bad and really hurt the inside of my nose. Next, we figured we would go into the pool. I touched the ladder, it was covered in rust, making it completely useless. My husband went in from the side and said the pool was cold. I was really disappointed.

Absolutely love this place!!!! I was honestly skeptical at first but when we went, I was so happy. Definitely get the bubble bath and the log in the lobby before you go to your room so you can have bubbles in the hot tub and you can put up a fire put in your room! If you go to the gift shop you can get some more things for your room. We went to the local wine and spirits to get wine and the cvs near by for candy and snacks for the room. Definitely get the package with the food!! This is a very important step because if you don’t get the food either the reservation, you can’t get into the fine dining restaurant and you are forced to go to spooners which is acute place but the dining hall is where it’s at and the food is amazing!! You also get the breakfast buffet in the morning which is amazing! Sooners has a bar, bowling and a basketball court I think. There is so much fun stuff to do every hour, trivia, bingo, live music omg it’s amazing!! I had a wonderful time. It was honestly one of the best parts of my relationship. We ended up just having that getaway and we left feeling closer and stronger and had such a good talk that was much needed. I rave about this place. Hands down 10/10❤️❤️❤️❤️Btw we stayed at the cheapest room called cove harbor I believe and it was still amazing!

Me and my Fiance had a good time but I do have some things that need to be said . So the facility needs a update it's to outdated the games are old the buildings look rundown with water damage on the ceiling and rust and dirt on the outside the building. I also feel there needs to be more entertainment once you do all the games and go to a few shows there really nothing else to do and stuff should stay open longer not close at 10 or 1130pm I didn't like how there was no microwave in the Champagne tower suite but we get a mini fridge that's in the bathroom there should be a different place for that also the food you get at the restaurant/fancy dinner was not good at all the bar food was better other then that we had a good time but these issues should be addressed!

The front desk staff did not have the knowledge to properly check us in. She did not know how to run the credit card machine. After waiting for 20 mins someone finally helped out.My biggest issue was no heat in the bathroom. We call the fronts desk Friday about no heat in the bathroom. We were told to turn the heater on in the wall and wait for the heater to start working. We could not use the heart shaped tub due to it being too cold in the bathroom. We we took a shower Friday it was difficult due to the cold. We we got up Saturday and took showers again it was extremely cold and horrible. We left to go snowboarding hoping when we returned the heat would be working in the bathroom. When we returned from snowboarding, there was still no heat in the bathroom. We call the front desk again and was told maintenance would come. We waited an hour and no maintenance. We called again and maintenance came about 10 mins later. Maintenance stated he would give us a space heater. He brought back the space heater and we were able to utilize the heart shaped tub late Saturday. The front desk seemed so unconcerned about the heat issue. We paid a lot of money to stay on the property and utilize what was available to us. It's disappointing that we were not able to enjoy the room like we would have liked.

My room wreaked of sewage the first step into my stay, and it didn’t dissipate for the duration stay. It had a great room heater though. It is summed up as a very low budget, low end “resort!” I surely expected more by the price point that was charged, than what I received and expected.

It was about a 2 hour drive. My fiancé booked the trip as an overnight getaway/proposal. (I wanted something where it was just us and a place we could go back to) the room was clean. If I wanted to nit pick I could maybe like the fire place smoke looked like it stained the ceiling but I didn't notice it until after we burned our logs so it could have been from us. Not every place is going to be 100% if you nit pick but I felt comfortable staying there. We stay in the Apple of Eden suite and it was really spacious. I didn't feel crammed and it was so nice to unwind. We had breakfast in the restaurant and loved it. We ordered food to our room. They were busy so it took a bit but it was great and they were super nice and great customer service. The gift shop was cute they had a little bit of everything. I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea but I loved it. I wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more the resort had to offer as I read up the other things you could do. Also I didn't know places to go after we left the resort I wanted to go seeing around and check new places out. I wish more places advertised around more since google wasn't much help. I would come back in the spring or fall just to enjoy walking around and hopefully more to do. Wildlife was everywhere and it was so cute seeing the deer.

I actually stayed at Paradise Stream and drove down to Cove Haven because you can drive to all three resorts. My room was beautiful I was in awe. Indoor pool, heart shaped tub, sauna, etc. All inclusive included breakfast and dinner and desert, one night it was a GIANT desert table full of chocolate. Tons of bars. They have a community pool area with hot tubs and jets and my boyfriend and I had the place to ourselves. It was weird we went for valentine’s day and barely any workers or people were in sight but we loved the privacy. Only complaints are the indoor ice skating rink was kinda impossible to skate on which I was really excited for, tanning beds didn’t work, things were outdated for sure. Also just wish the place was a bit cheaper, the price per night kills me lol. I wanna come back so bad.

Cove Haven on the shores of Lake Wallenpaupack is a great place for a romantic getaway. They offer all inclusive packages including meals, entertainment, and activities. They offer rooms with heart-shaped pools, heart-shaped whirlpools, fireplaces, and swimming pools. And the famous champagne glass whirlpool bath room.

I went here with my wife for 2 days to bring in 2024 When I went to check in there were 8 people in front of me. 50 minutes later I was able to check in. The room was very nice, very outdated, but nice. When we first walked in, it smelled old. After getting to the room my wife and I went to the lounge where they had food, drinks, and activities. We ordered some food, a mixed drink for me, and a glass of wine for my wife. The server came back with 2 oz of wine and apologized saying that we don't have any more. A bar without wine, I say poor management. We finished eating and played miniature bowling and some pool. We went back to the room to relax and went into the heart-shaped pool, actually a very large bathtub. It was very nice, would have liked it to be a little warmer but still nice. We got ready for dinner and took their shuttle. We had reservations for 7:30. When we walked in there were many open tables. There were about 8 couples in front of us. When we got to the check-in stand we were told to wait at the bar until a table was ready. There were at least 15 empty tables. It appeared that they were very understaffed. At 8:30 we were seated. My wife and I both ordered the ribeye. I also ordered the seafood bisque. The bisque was just slightly warm. About 40 minutes later we were served. My wife and I hardly ate anything. To me the food tasted worse than cheap banquet food. After dinner, we went back to the room. I put a log in the fireplace and lit it. Within 15-20 minutes the place was filled with smoke and the smoke alarm went off. I had to put the fire out with water. I needed to keep the door open for an hour to try to air out the room. I called down to the front desk to tell them about this. There response was, yeah we have problems with a large downdraft. I was asked if I had newspaper to get the fireplace hot quickly. I said no and asked if they had any and they said no. Interesting that they have a problem, they don't tell you about the problem and they don't have a resolution. I proceeded to fill the champagne tower tub with water. Once it was filled I started the jacuzzi jets. It did not work. I called the front desk and to tell them, they said I needed to call back in the morning. Time for bed. The next day, I called for the jacuzzi and went to breakfast. It was a buffet breakfast. I spent $1,500 for 2 nights and I'm going to get a buffet breakfast? It was just okay. After breakfast, we went back to the room and into the pool. Later we went back to the lounge to get some drinks and have some fun. I ordered the same drinks as the day before but I was told that they ran out of pina colada mix. This is very poor management. They run out of wine and pina colada mix. I wonder what else they ran out of. Later we went back to the room to get ready for dinner. The maintenance man was there and just fixed the jacuzzi. He said that he would call housekeeping and make sure they sterilize the jacuzzi before we could use it. We got ready for dinner and went. Same thing, wait on line and then wait at the bar. I ordered the lamb shank. I forget what my wife ordered. It was awful. I hardly ate anything. After dinner, we went to the nightclub to bring in 2024. There was a comedian who I thought was not funny at all. Then the band started playing. They were playing 70's and 80's music. The musicians were good but the singer was not. My wife and I decided to go back to the room and bring in 2024 in the jacuzzi, something I thought would be very different and romantic. I went to fill the jacuzzi and saw that it was never cleaned. This sucked. I will never visit this place again and I would also suggest that others do the same unless they make many changes.

My husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend of 1/13/24 - 1/15/24. I've always wanted to go to the Poconos and experience the "Land of Love." The location was nice but secluded. The room I reserved was Juliette, with breakfast & dinner included. Plus, I had a military discount and paid almost $800 for two nights. I was expecting more of a resort feel for the money spent. We arrived after dark, so we were unaware of how the area looked. We had dinner the first night for steak & shrimp night. My steak was fatty but edible. My husband's steak was about 75% fat. The shrimp were overcooked. The salad bar was excellent, and we were able to fill up on that. The dinner the second night was worse. I had salmon, which was way overcooked, and my husband had chicken parm, which the chicken was also overcooked. Again, salad bar to the rescue. It reminded me of banquet-style decor and service. The breakfast was better, not exceptional, but better. The wait staff, for the most part, were excellent, especially the two gentlemen working. They were very entertaining. The entertainment and activities were less than desirable. The activities were kitschy and lacking. The entertainment was also lacking. We did enjoy the piano man in the dining room Sat night and the duo who sang in the dining room Sun night. Since the activities didn't sound interesting, we walked the property, and this place needs an update. There were three individual cabins next to our room that had been abandoned. They were an eyesore falling apart. The dock area was littered with limbs and broken gates leading into the water. Plus, the paddle boats looked like someone threw them into a corner without organization. I know it's winter, but come on. Also, several of the buildings were sorely in need of repair.Parts of the roof were swaying in the wind, and soffits were barely hanging on. Our room, at first glance, was lovely. Then, I started looking around and saw the worn-down room. I liked the heart-shaped hot tub, which was nice. However, I'm not a fan of all the mirrors in the room. They were around the hot tub and round bed. The circular style bed was awkward to get in and out of. If I were the only one on the bed and tried to get out on the side, the bed would tip. Plus, the mattress was slightly sunk in the middle. I felt like I was constantly sliding into the middle. We started smelling sewage odors when using the bathroom. I guess we got used to it, but you could smell it every time you left the room and came back in. The fireplace in the room was the best part besides the hot tub. Overall, the stay wasn't horrible. The property is in desperate need of a makeover. I'm okay with the kitschy love theme but update the 70’s vibe. Take some pride in the property.

My husband and I have contemplated staying at Cove Haven for years. We've searched all of the reviews on multiple platforms, watched the resort website and researched the ends of the internet...finally, we decided to stay for our Anniversary weekend! Here is our HONEST, immediately recent review of Cove Haven Resort in Lakeville, PA:We will preface this by agreeing that there is significantly more to do in the warmer months than in the winter when we visited. Outdoor activities would have enhanced our visit so much! Instead we did enjoy a snowstorm, where the resort does offer snow shoeing if you have proper snow boots! The website and app are inaccurate as far as times listed for activities and amenities and what activities are actually available. Ice skating and indoor sports are NOT currently available, which were part of the reason we chose this resort over the other two. Also, this resort is out of the way of the other two-- about 45-55 minutes away, so "key around club" isn't as feasible as it sounds! The activities available during cold months are as follows: CXO events like bingo (MAKE SURE YOU BRING CASH TO PLAY!), trivia, comedy, live music, couples' games like bowling tournaments and axe throwing, etc.The amenities available are as follows:in the Lookout Lounge building: indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, & gym, spa by appt only (only offer massage services),In the Spooners bar building: duckpin bowling (basically mini bowling), darts, mini golf, arcade games, cornhole, ladderballThe chalet offers equipment for outdoor activities which there were basically none due to the cold, and there was no info on the champagne tower night club and it wasn't open during our stay. You can enjoy archery even in the cold months but it was too snowy to walk around the target range. You can purchase deer food from the gift shop to feed deer also! The gift shop is open daily.Your restaurant options are Spooners (burgers, pizza, apps, booze) or the restaurant (breakfast buffet on weekends, menu on weekdays, and dinner) as well as booze.Overall: would gladly book again, room was clean and very cozy (we stayed in a Juliette, best bang for your buck really unless you NEED the small private pool or dry sauna that the Apple & Champagne rooms offer) and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.Pros: clean room, extremely soundproof, cozy comfy firm bed and TVs were actually pretty good quality! Hot tub and shower were nice & piping hot, plenty of lighting/dimming features to set the mood in the room. Alcohol menus at Spooners, Restaurant, Lookout & Cupids are all the same. Free apps during happy hour at Cupids with $2 off alcohol was really nice to enjoy during bingo & trivia. After dinner we LOVED the comedian on 01/06 he was super interactive, edgy and had us laughing the whole show! Live music (group du jour) was excellent! Gift shop prices mostly reasonable. Bar food and alcohol prices very reasonable. Dinner service our second night was relaxed, efficient and the gentleman server was AMAZING! He was also our server for breakfast, made both experiences lovely!Cons: dinner food was very subpar, bland & generic but presentation looked good! Same with breakfast buffet-- looked great but lacked taste. Breakfast menu was yummy! Dinner service Saturday night was SLOW, lots of couples yelling or complaining. We didn't receive drinks for an hour, never even received bread or soups or desserts, dinner arrived an hour and a half later. Server was visibly overwhelmed due to lack of staff and irritated guests. The overall look of the resort appears a little under-maintained but overall wasn't too bad!If we could change anything about our stay, we would opt for warmer weather to enjoy all of the fun summer activities, we would look at restaurants outside of the resort for dinner. We can't wait to visit again! We would love to try all 3 resorts since they all offer different things! We had a very lovely anniversary weekend and LOVED our special time together ❤️

We booked our getaway for the middle of December. Many of the staff have been there for decades and they give the place a certain vibe that we really loved. Bring lots of ones to give tips to them, they work super hard. The deer are amazing and were one of my favorite aspects, they eat from your hands and two let me pet them. Our room was the Apple of Eden. It was beautiful. There is a transportation service that is really fun also. The housekeeping staff are amazing, they got us anything we needed within 30 minutes. The hot tub was amazing, use only a small amount of bubbles or none at all if you will use the jets!! The food was amazing - live music, amazing food, decorated so nice. The bowling & archery area was really cool also.

Overall, my husband and I enjoyed our stay at Cove Haven. We were in a champagne tower suite, and it was wonderful. The pool and the champagne jacuzzi were amazing! The sauna room was an amazing surprise, I enjoyed it.Breakfast was delicious, and dinner is reasonably priced in their dining room. Dinner was pretty good, but I would say you definitely don't want to miss out on breakfast. One major disappointment is the activities/services offered for couples to do throughout the resort. We went for our anniversary in December and expected a bit more. Spooner's seemed to be the hot spot. We were able to do some games and hang out, but in the arcade, games weren't working, and all bowling alleys were out of order. Some pool tables were not in great condition and made it hard to play. Various scheduled activities were underwhelming due to changes made by staff because there were out of order situations. No winter activities were up and running, and not much variety in the blizzard chalet. However, the archery was great! Also, you only receive two bottles of water in your room. Each bottle of water throughout the resort costs $2.50. This is something to keep in mind when considering a longer stay. You may want to bring some extra water. There is a refrigerator in the suite.

Just dumped 1100 dollars only to have to wait for breakfast and dinner after I made reservations. This is ridiculous. Not my problem if guests want to sit all night. I will not come back again. Plus you need more things for people to do. Not enough amenities.

December 2023 My husband and I stayed here (first time) for our anniversary and his bday. The lady at the front desk, there were two but the lady that waited on us when we first arrived was not very pleasant nor helpful. It was dark in there and I couldn’t see all the papers she was giving me. I told her that I couldn’t see to read the papers. Do you think she offer to help me (nope). Then my husband walked in and the lady started giving me moor papers. She told me to read and initial where need be but at the same time she is telling me things to do on the property. When I found my reading glasses, I had to ask her to let me read the papers and then can she tell me about the property afterwards. It was too much, read this, initial this, listen to to this, pay this, etc etc all in one breath from her geesh. I wished the other lady would’ve waited on me, she was bubbly and very attentive to her customers. The rest of the staff in the restaurants and lounges were very nice. We stayed in the champagne room. The place does need to be upgraded. Mirrors near champagne tub were cracked. There some other maintenance issues in the room. The set up of the room is very nice. There were a lot of activities. The lady in the gift shop was a sweetheart. Overall we had a nice time. Cove Haven please update your rooms and fix the broken things. This place is very expensive for things in the room to be cracked, broken, dirty, etc. The waiter in the main dining area (breakfast and dinner) his name is Eric, he is very nice, pleasant and an excellent waiter.

We enjoyed our time at Cove Haven in one of the Cove Harbour rooms in spite of the fact that it rained all 3 days we were there. There was still a fair bit to do and we loved swimming in the pool and using the hot tub. The food was good. Our room was nice and I liked all the amenities. The only complaints I have is the resort's process for things and the available activities were a little unintuitive to new guests like me and my wife. The service was slow too, we called for service a couple times, once for our rooms and once for one of the bowling lanes. In both cases we waited around for a while before ignoring the issue and moving on. Our room never got made up the second day despite leaving the sign out front of the door and the bed sheet sign on the bed most of the day while we were out doing stuff. Otherwise, the resort was pretty self sustaining and we were able to help ourselves for most other issues. We would stay again and recommend the resort to

We stayed in the Signature Champagne Room on Christmas Day. Private sauna was nice, how ever, the door did not close all the way. Private heart shaped pool was just the right temperature but , needed some simple TLC. Champagne tower was really romantic but it took an hour to fill up the tower with water. The round bed was comfortable but had a top sheet as the bottom sheet so it did not stay on the bed since it was not a “fitted” sheet. Dinner food was good but the server was not! And we were not allowed to take home a doggie bag. What a waste of food! Breakfast food and our server were wonderful. The events coordinator was okay. She was on her phone while we were doing the duck pin bowling tournament. The gentleman that sang and played guitar during dinner was very good.

I had the somewhat pleasure of spending a birthday weekend here, which to start off, front desk staff was friendly enough, gave us the spiel of the place and itinerary of the night, the room was nice, though a bit dirty with spider webs here and there, the jacuzzi, was a bit dirty so I had to let it run to clean off, the hot water knob was running so I had to keep a towel on there so the water wouldn’t fall to the ground, I explored the property with my partner which was phenomenal, the pool, hot tub, sauna and arcade was nice, after exploring and getting some activities done, I went over to the bar and food area (lounge?) and were sitting there for 20 minutes, as the waiters were arguing about some tab of $100 or something like that, occasionally looking at us and not taking our order, I had to drive off property to get food and drinks, overall place was okay, wish the pool / gym would be open before checkout so I can still take advantage of activities before I leave, worth coming if you have a deal

First let me start off by saying how wonderful this place is. I don't know how any reviews could possibly be negative. Some people are saying it was dated or the food was average. The place has charm and a cozy feeling. My boyfriend and I stayed in the Garden Of Eden Apple room. It has the jacuzzi, two TVs, king sized bed, pool, sauna, and fireplace. We stayed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This is during December. We got the food package which is an absolute MUST!You will not be hungry! The breakfast is great and the dinner is even better. The waiter will offer you seconds of the meal you got. My boyfriend was offered two prime rib meals! All included! I would also like to give a shout-out to Eric at the restaurant. He was outstanding. I am gluten free and he was so accommodating. Most people make me feel like a burden for being gluten free but he went above and beyond. I even got my own gluten free bread and butter brought out. I had gluten free pasta and a gluten free lava cake. For breakfast he put a special order in for stir fry vegetables and gluten free French toast for me. He had the best personality too! There is so many activities to do and they have fun events such as trivia game nights with appetizers (also all included.) We also got chocolate covered strawberries for the room and they give you a lot of them with whipped cream. They are the best I have ever had. The game room at Spooners is great! Bowling, mini golf, ping pong, you name it. My favorite part was going to the gift shop and buying deer food and hand feeding the deer on the property. They are so beautiful and calm and will come right up to you. Cove haven is the place to go if you need a quiet get away. The scenery around is beautiful with the mountains. It is very private and not over crowded. I get overwhelmed easily in crowds and was a bit worried but it is perfect here. The staff no matter where you go is so sweet and helpful. They always have a smile on their face and are very personable. My boyfriend and I had an amazing time. We will definitely be back in the summer for our anniversary!

Great place for a little R&R with my wife, great couples resort, rooms are great; pool, sauna, massage table etc.. you dont even have to leave the room. Tons of activities and entertainment on the property, good food, good service. This was our 12th time going to Cove Haven, there will surely be a 13th.

We had an absolute lovely time at Cove Haven from 12/3/2023 to 12/5/2023 - "off season" so we basically had the place to ourselves! The food was really amazing and the staff were even more amazing: Gena, Brian, Dennis, Chris, Tony, Desiree, Lisa and Priscilla just to name a few! Gold stars to all! Oh and if you're a fan of Tomato Basil soup I highly recommend it at Spooners! We also really enjoyed the CXO (Chief Excitement Officer) events to keep us busy.We stayed in the Garden of Eden room that had a pool, sauna, heart-shaped tub, and fireplace. It was really cool to have our own pool! The sauna didn't get very hot though. The room (123) was a little outdated, the freezer had so much ice build up we couldn't put anything in it, hence the 4 stars. We really enjoyed the fireplace!!The location is a little off of the beaten path - not much to do around Lakeville. We headed into Honesdale and walked down Main Street and hit up Maude Alley/Way. Maude Main was an amazing store! So many neat things to look at and buy!Highly recommend Cove Haven and we already made our reservations for the first week in June 2024! See you there!Kelley/Mike

I went here during cold weather so I wasn't able to experience all that the place has to offer. Overall I thought the place was a little dated but nice. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and warm. We had a fireplace, Jacuzzi, cable tv, fancy bed with mirrors all around. The food wasn't bad either. I don't know if we got good value for our dollar because this was gifted to us. I would like to try it again during the warm weather so I can get the full experience. There are grocery, pharmacy and food stores within 10 miles if needed. Lots of couple oriented entertainment as well.

Great trip. First time goers. Was surprised at the inclusiveness of resort amenities. Staff was super friendly. Rooms and buildings were obviously aged, but that is to be expected. Outside of normal wear and tear, the rooms we had were great.

Stayed at paradise stream in August. We were there 20 years ago and was nice. This was disgusting. Bed was so gross we slept on a tarp I keep in my car. Door was broken. Beer tab in the plung pool. Food was lame. We complained and they gave us a voucher for a free night. No way. This is how they get around refunding. Will not go back.

The place. Is located. Perfectly for. Share. With nature outside the noise of the city. Pitifully. The price seemed expensive to me since. In the App they charged me. Housekeeping. And when I arrived at the hotel they charged me. Extra for cleaning. I think it is not fair. I could find another one. Bug. I think that. The truth is they should be more careful. With regard. To cleanliness and more aware of prices.

I would like to start out by saying that this was exactly what my wife and I needed and we will definitely be back.Room type: champagne towerCons:1. The mattress was definitely dented in the middle.2. The pool light didn't work. (Not that we needed it. There's plenty of other light.)3. Half the starlight's over the bed were out.4. We are pretty sure there was supposed to be some sort of screen over the water intake to the jets in the tub. That was missing.Pros:1. The property is secluded and perfect for spending time alone with someone you love.2. I was a stressed out mess when I got there and was completely relaxed by the time I left.3. Having a pool in your room is so much more amazing than we thought it would be.4. The staff is super friendly and helpful with any questions or requests (remember to tip).5. You can buy deer feed at the gift shop and feed the deer that freely roam the property.6. The dining staff are amazing. We were never truly hungry while we were there.Overall:This was a wonderful experience and we cannot wait to go back. We miss being able to go for a swim. We miss the variety of great food options. We didn't know what to expect when we booked the trip. They exceeded anything we could have expected.

My husband and I are locals who have always wanted to come to cove haven. We always held off because we just weren’t sure. Something different every night. We will definitely be back again! Had an unforgettable weekend at Cove Haven!

We were very surprised to see how old the rooms are and how much they are desperately in need of updating. Our room looked like a room from the 70s. The style of mirrors on the ceiling are very old, scratched, faded, and most of the lights did not work, and the price is far too high for what we received. The food for dinner lacked seasoning, and thus, had no taste. On some nights, most of the selections contained shellfish. Breakfast was good, but needs variety. We both were tired of the same breakfast foods after the third day, so we left the resort and went to a local restaurant - even though we already paid for meals at the resort. In summary, we had fun with the guests, but the facilities and the price were extremely disappointing. It fails to compete with what we've heard about Cove Haven when Caesars owned the resorts. I brought my wife here for her birthday, but I'm a bit embarrassed that I didn't research the details of this resort before spending over $2000.

My wife and I visited Cove Haven 3 times in the past 10 years for our anniversary and always have an excellent time. Every time we go, things keep improving. Last time the remodel on the rooms looked great. This time the activities that were held were better, and the medallions were very nice. Also, the temperature of the indoor and outdoor pools was warmer. It felt great. Nice improvements! The food was delicious. The staff at Cove does an excellent job at going above and beyond on making you feel welcome and appreciated. Glad we made our anniversary plans back at the Cove. The only downside is time goes too fast. Cove, don't change what you are doing. We look forward to returning.

The CXO was great, engaging and funny. The staff are really wonderful. They mutually support each other and have a certain camaraderie that just shines. The reception desk served us very well and helped us with several items. The rooms have been updated, but there are a few touches still needed (attention to detail around pool and tub). Nothing horrible, and the room was clean, just extra attention would make the rooms so much better.A nice touch would be availability of coffee (a coffee bar or free coffee on tap most of the day).Food was excellent. Cannot say enough about it. The service was wonderful too. Live entertainment during dinner was such a ice touch, something you do not see very much anymore anywhere.Gift shop had some great stuff for gifts and the staff was again excellent.

Had a great weekend at the Cove. This was a fun retro feel. Rooms were clean and updated. The main entertainment facilities were clean and updated. Staff were very friendly. The outside is in need of major repairs, i almost turned around upon arrival. Lower your expectations on the cosmetics, enjoy a step back in time and enjoy yourself with the fun staff, many options, and solid entertainment.

Part 1) There's a lot to unpack here. On one hand we had an amazing unforgettable time as a couple but we couldn't help but feel misled by Cove Haven's website.Room: We stayed in the champagne tower for a hefty price of $546 a night. The room had an extremely unique look with a cool heart shaped pool inside. We had no issue with the pool, we found it very clean and a comfortable temperature. The massage table would have been hard to use as it was kind of in a cramped space so we just avoided it entirely. The living room was nice and furnished with a couch, tv, and fireplace. The champagne tower itself was also very cool with lights and mirrors all around it. The upstairs overlooked the living room and pool with windows all around. The bathroom and shower were clean and updated. The toilet was a bit finicky but overall didn't have huge issues with it. The bed was extremely comfy with memory foam. Only four or five overhead stars worked however. The main problem we had with the room though is that it was just a bit creepy at night. I read someone else’s review on the champagne tower room and they said it reminds them of a scary movie. I agree. During the day it was great, a really fun room with cool amenities that you simply can't find anywhere else (indoor pool, champagne bathtub, round bed with mirrors all around). At night however the layout of the room just felt off. It was an open layout and the bedroom was not closed off from the downstairs. From the bed you're just staring down at the front door (which faces the woods) and dimly lit pool room as well as a staircase where you can't see who's coming up it. I got about four hours of sleep just because I was so scared to fall back asleep. It's kinda hard to explain exactly the layout since it's so unique, it's just more of a feeling of not knowing what's lurking around the corner. We went on a weekday so the resort was pretty desolate with nobody staying near us as well as being in the woods added to the eeriness. But besides not being able to sleep, the room was cool and clean but we definitely wouldn't be staying in it again for sleeping reasons.Food + Dining experience: The food here was extremely mediocre and could have been skipped entirely by going off property somewhere. We didn't go to spooners but we did attend a dinner service. The dinner menu wasn't very extensive and the veal and shrimp scampi which is what we both ate was pretty forgettable and *extremely overpriced. The dining experience however was really something. It was extremely awkward. They had couples very close together (like one foot away) in rows in a hugee dining room. There was absolutely no privacy and you could hear everything other couples were talking about. What also made it awkward was that many couples were not talking to each other at all and all you could hear were my boyfriend and I's conversation. In a way we almost felt judged for talking and having a good time laughing with each other. The loud band playing also made it hard to enjoy the service. The real highlight of dinner and our trip as a whole was Nicole, our server. She was hilarious, helpful, and made us feel comfortable eating there. She was the only reason we had a good time there. Another thing that was odd to me was that arguably the nicest restaurant there, Lookout Lounge which overlooks the beautiful lake was closed our entire stay. It was the biggest waste of potential as the setting of it was gorgeous. I'm not sure why they would keep Spooners (a very basic bar with cheap eats) open over this. Our thought process was, the management wanted to cut costs by keeping one of the two restaurants open.

Special dietary needs was not taken care of when reservation were made i repeated myself 3times. Food was awful organo in auju could not eat fish as there is an alergy. Average, the room was ok. The upstairs sitting area was the best. A fan in the room would be great. We burned the fake wood in the fireplace & had the burned paper smell in the room all night, no real wood allowed. Shower water pressure was terrible. Hotwater in the jacuzzi tub was great. The AC/Heater needed the filters cleaned, extremely filthy & kept recirculating the smokiness & humidity. Diningroom was average & dinner was not worth the price. The waiters were exceptional. Rainy weekends & there were leaks in every facility we went to. Game room was a good time, bowling, pool, etc. Spa appeared to be closed. Grounds appeared to be very clean & kept, deer were everywhere in the evening. Everything on-site is walkable. It's definitely not worth the price & I wouldn't stay there again or recommend it to a friend. 2 stars because the price doesn't match the stay or advertising.

So much to do outdoors and indoors. All the staff were great. Buildings look a little run down and so does some of the rooms. Simple things like mirror edges are tarnished from time, and pool ceiling tiles bulging down. Nothing that is a deal breaker. The service and events far make up for it. Wild deer are everywhere and you can feed some of them. Really cool.

This place was a dream. In all honesty it was a complete surprise from my wife. I had no idea where I was going. When we checked in my first thought was that this was going to be fun. We spent two nights there and that was about right. After our arrival I realized it was kind of like a cruise experience but on land instead. There is literally no reason to leave while you are hear. The provided meals are amazing. All of the activities are there to keep you busy as well. They had biking, fishing, archery, hiking, games, and much, much more that we just ran out of time. Our room was amazing as well. They had roses spread all over the floor and our bed. We had our own fireplace. The bathtub for two was also a whirlpool. They have a list of daily activities that change every day. They are all super fun things to do as well. There was a scavenger hunt, karaoke, bingo, trivia, and even a comedy club. The best part is there are no kids allowed. Everyone must be over 18. I really felt comfortable there as it was quiet and relaxing. The biggest surprise of all were all of the tame deer they have on their property. They even sell deer feed at their store. Some of the deer are very trusting and will eat out of your hand if you're patient enough. It was truly a resort experience. It is great for honeymoons and anniversaries. We had an exceptional time there and are planning to return for one of our next anniversaries. It is truly a top notch place to visit.

I loved the time I spent here so much I feel cheated that I didn't know about it sooner. Everything about the resort exceeded our expectations. I accidentally found out about Cove Haven by reading a review comparing it to the Inn of the Dove and am so glad I did. There is no comparison. Cove Haven is an experience. The room is absolutely gorgeous. Our room has a heart shaped hot tub, fire place and our own heated pool in it. The resort has an outdoor and indoor pool, lake with many activities. There are many outdoor lawn games like archery and corn hole. There are free activities each day including diy puzzles and bottles. There is a list of the day's activities. Where they will be and at what time. There is also bowling, mini golf, pool tables, darts and ladder ball all free to play. I strongly recommend arriving at 11 because there is so much to do. I wish we had arrived earlier. You can also stay all day after you check out to do that day's activities. The room is a little expensive but it includes all of the above mentioned plus breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is a buffet and well worth the price. Dinner also includes a salad bar that also includes a charcuterie station. You can very easily have a fantastic time and only need money for the servers. There is a gift shop that sells deer feed and you can feed the deer at the resort. Most will eat right out of your hands. There is a shuttle that will pick you up anywhere in the resort and take you wherever you want. The staff at the resort were amazing. My only hiccup was that our room wasn't ready for an hour and a half but we missed an opportunity by sitting in the lobby waiting when we could have been doing one of the activities. I would suggest getting to the resort at 11 and expecting the room to be ready around 5. Make your dinner reservation for 8 so you will have plenty of time to get ready for dinner. Overall I whole hearted recommend Cove Haven for a romantic getaway. It is well worth the price and so much better than the Inn of the Dove and this is coming from someone who loves the Inn of the Dove.

This is a very beautiful and romantic resort. It is very pricy, but it honestly is worth it if you want a beautiful getaway with your significant other. We saw tons of deer at night which was super awesome. They weren't scared and sometimes would actually walk up to you and sniff your hand. The champagne glass hot tub was an awesome new experience. I do recommend bringing your own bubble bath because the one that they sell doesn't work very well. Couldn't get any better having a private heart shaped pool. There is no shortage of activities from paddle boarding, kayaking, duck pin bowling, billiards, and live comedy. Highly recommend coming here for a romantic getaway.

Our experience was very nice. This was our first time and my only issue was when I checked in I was not advised if I didn't make a reservation for dinner I would have to order from spooners and pay out of pocket. The dinner and breakfast was included only at the Huntress Dining Room. I went to the front desk at about 7pm and Monica was such a pleasure and assisted us. She spoke to the chef and we were given a voucher for dinner the 1st night. The rest of our stay was amazing the breakfast and dinners was delicious. We stayed at Garden of Eden Apple and the room was just as it was advertised. Clean and cozy. The pool and heart shaped whirlpool was a complete joy for us. We spent our anniversary on a very romantic note!!

Our stay was amazing! I’ve read a few not posit reviews on the way there and got a bit nervous, but the stay went absolutely fantastic! The room was very clean, spacious and had everything needed. We very much enjoyed the heart shaped bathtub, so cute!Breakfast was good, we also went kayaking and swimming in the morning. The deers stole my heart, they were hanging around all the time, and I fed 2-3 packs of deer food to them (you can purchase it at the gift shop).

Me and my husband just stayed here this week for our honeymoon as we got married on 6/16/23. My best friend actually stayed at the paradise streamAnd recommended we look into the resort. We ended up scheduling cove haven as it was a little closer to us. The rooms were very well organized and put together. We chose the garden of Eden apple room. The pool was heated and nice and warm and it was the perfect size for two, the whirlpool tub was nice and relaxing along with the whole room ambiance. Overall we had an amazing time relaxing, feeding the deer and traveling to see more of pa. We did enroll in the package where dinner and breakfast was included. The dinner especially was amazing. Our last night I had the salmon and it definitely delivered. We will probably come every year or two for our anniversary! ( some nice pictures of my favorite things below)

This place was absolutely garbage, from arriving, to service, rooms, and location. Majority of employees were rude, we for massages and they sucked, we had an negative experience with two of the servers, but the manager helped us out with that. Front desk were an abomination in how they received and handed anything everything was dated and smelled, entertainment was ridiculous, take out was limited and not much to do near there

This is the second adult only resort we've visited. We went to Cove Haven twice and this one for the first time. Ultimately we like cove haven better. There's a little more to do at cove haven and things are more spread out. The service here at paradise stream was great. Unfortunately I can't remember names but we met a food service manager in the evenings, he was great and went above and beyond food service. We suggested to him, along with another guest that they need to leave more toilet paper in your rooms when the guests are staying for more than 2 days. The next morning we had toilet paper waiting at our doors. Just the fact he remembered and made that happen is a little thing, but they listen. The food and drinks were excellent. We didn't get to do many outdoor activities because it rained most the time we were there. The bar tenders and servers were great and we never waited for a drink.

Truly enjoyed everything about our experience there the only thing I can complain about was the weather but that's out of everyone's control. Service was wonderful, plenty of indoor activities to keep you busy, if the weather isn't good. The room was really nice. Stayed at the champagne towers suite was exactly what I expected. I would recommend it to any one else who is looking to get away with there significant other.

My experience with this place was a little different I'll say. The first thing that really bothered me was the smell, second thing that bothered me, is my husband and I went over to the bar we had a few drinks everything was good. that same night we go we eat dinner we had a few drinks with our dinner and I just thought it was a little bizarre because when we got drinks the first time from the bar there was no sprinkles on them but when we got our drinks with our food there was sprinkles on them and as I started to drink mine and I started to feel really weird, so I feel like somebody was trying to position my husband and I into a situation....so really I'll probably never ever show my face back there..... They put our room right next to the utility closet!!! Some of the staff was really creepy Yes somewhere nice but mostly creepy I didn't feel comfortable there at all and I would not leave my husband side!!!

We unpacked and lit a fire log after a three hour drive only to discover we had no hot water! Also a fuse blew and the lamps and music dock went out. We had to pack and move to another room. The front desk was very helpful and accommodating! They replaced the log and we resettled, only to discover a big red lipstick smear on one of the pillowcases. It grossed my wife out! The manager did comp our dinner and we had a nice indoor weekend!

Went here with my wife, this place is not what we expected but the staff that run this place are very nice and happy. The breakfast buffet was very good and the rooms can use an update but the location is well secluded and clean. I was not too happy at first but by the next day I grew to appreciate its amenities and location. I certainly will remember my stay here for the rest of my life. Maybe one day we will return here to relive our memories here. I really like the place. It has so much potential and can easily be met. Was a little expensive for its offerings but I understand. Me and my wife certainly created memories that we will forever remember and look back on. I don’t regret coming here. It’s weird but deep down I really enjoyed staying here.

We loved the concept but they need to doWork in this place. We went here forOur anniversary check in was at 6 pm because the room was not cleaned and they were running low in personnel. The diner/ breakfast buffet needs to be reserved, so be aware if you don’t make a reservation, you won’t be eating here. The facility needs a lot of work and updates to be done. It was a nice experience, but many of the attractions were out of service.

Definitely way overpriced and disappointing. Our room was dirty and outdated. The mirrors throughout the room were filthy. The pool area had a big clump of hair laying on cobwebs. The pool was ice cold. The fireplace was covered in rust chips. Only half of the jets worked on the Jacuzzi. A green electric wire running across the pool area to the ladder. The showerhead was brown and leaking and looked like it was from 20 years ago. If you’re looking for a special romantic weekend with your significant other, I would definitely look for a different place!

Came here to spend a night away. They called us an hour in advance to see if we wanted to add anything to the room before our arrival. We wanted a meat and cheese platter, along with some champagne. Once we arrived the champagne and cheese platter weren’t in our room. We called the front desk to let them know & still had to wait 35+ minutes for the stuff to get to our room. The lady that dropped our things off told us they just found out we asked for these things so that’s why it took them so long.. Had us pay $30 for a CHEAP bottle of champagne that was $10 at the liquor store, and had us pay $25 for the meat and cheese platter horribly put together. A toddler could have made it look more appetizing. Definitely not worth $400+ a night. Beds were crusty & dirty. The TV service was very cheap. Definitely not up to date in 2024. Felt like the room was trapped in the 80s. Also make sure you ask for more water, we were giving one bottle a person for the stay. Definitely not coming back and wasting my money here.Lastly, you’re charged a $75 fee on top of everything. We asked when we will get it back & the lady at the front desk told us 5 days. Not worth it.

Rooms need better up-keep. Our room was ANT infested. The walls were Thilthy! Some of the lights do not work. The dinner is DISGUSTING and breakfast was nothing to write home about. Do not order any food from nearby restaurants that you might have to heat up because they have no kitchen or microwave in any of the rooms. Some of the games are broken and hospitality needs significant improvement. But I didn't plan to write a review until this happened... 2am this morning a stranger walked in our room yelling Hello Hello with a Hispanic accent (never knocked on the door)... I'm like I do not recognize this voice. I was not presentable and my husband was sleeping. I get startled and say who are you and how did you get in??? He says do you have a guy that belong here just try to get in. I said No! And he doesn't say anything then just shuts our door. Im left wondering who was that and how did he get in??? My husband gets up as he hears me talking to this strange man and gets concerned, like how the hell do you just walk in on us like that at 2am and start yelling. We later found out that the man was security getting ready to let a drunk guest into our room because the man said it was his room and his key didnt work. I'm not going to go into what happened after that because my husband was furious as any husband would be. It was not appropriate! DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANY MEMORABLE MILESTONES! NOT WORTH THE PRICE!

I really like this place because it has potential but it’s just not worth 400 and up per night. Our room wasn’t ready until 2 hours after check in. The walkways had ice and were unsafe. And I was totally shocked at the evidence of mold and disgusting toilet paper. I asked very kindly for a partial refund and they never got back to me for 2 weeks. It’s a shame. Now they will comment contact us, yet I did twice already, you need to contact ME with an apology and refund.

It was a very bad experience. The rooms were not ready at check-in time. We had to wait two hours for them to give us the room. The person who helped us at the front desk was very racist and treated us very badly and with a bad attitude. The water in the pool in the room had a very bad smell, we couldn't use it. When we went to dinner in the cafeteria there was a fight in the kitchen that could be heard outside. The massage place only had one person and there was never room for massages. It really was a horrible experience. So much money that we paid to endure disagreements and bad treatment. I will never return to that place. And I do not recommend it to anyone

Been here a few times. The rooms are always super clean. The food at the restaurant is excellent. As in all restaurants wait staff can be hit or miss. This time we had Jacob. He was waiting on 9 other tables. He was doing the best he could. We had to wait, but still got ok service. Interestingly he was our breakfast waiter to. I think the management staff should consider having some on call workers! All in all even though the property is getting dated and could stand a little TLC, you will have a great experience.

A lot of what we love about Paradise Stream is based on our memories. That's not saying it isn't a nice escape for couples. We have been visiting since our honeymoon in 1997 when it was owned by Caesars. Our favorite room, hands down, is the Apple. We have stayed in every room style. The location of the resort is great. We enjoy going to the outlets, Mount Airy and some of the local shops. The level of service has declined over the years. Someone going there for the first time definitely won't see in it what we do. The heart shaped jacuzzi tubs need to be updated/cleaned/repaired as does the pool area. The carpet and mirrors in the pool area need to be replaced. The offering of amenities we had when we first started going to the resort have been taken away one be one but the price has kept increasing. That has been frustrating. The meal quality is very good but was great. Definitely worth the cost. The room (Apple) is our escape from the world and we love it. Sometimes when we arrive, everything is perfect, others not so much. We know how to communicate and what we should expect upon arrival. It would be nice to have everything 'right' every time we arrive. All that said, going there takes us back to a place and time that helps us escape to a time and wonderful memories so it will be hard to stop going. I would like to see improvements in the upkeep and amenities so young/new couples can find what we have found there. We return every year for a long weekend to escape and rekindle our relationship. We are considering a long weekend now. I hope to see the improvements needed so we continue to love our special place and couples visiting for the first time will make it there special place too. It's such a beautiful and peaceful setting as well.

I was extremely disappointed with Paradise Stream Resort.1.) The room’s decor is old and outdated. We had a roach in our room.2.)The jacuzzi in our room was spraying disgusting sediment or what it looked like to me, dark brown flakes. Gross!3.)The curb appeal of the resort could use renovations. Coming into the resort I did not feel I was entering any land of love but a neglected motel. The only good thing I say about my stay was that the staff were friendly and the drinks/food was good. But, Me and my spouse, will never come back and we’ll tell others to spend their money elsewhere.

We stayed for New Years 2023 weekend into 2024. Friday night and leaving Tuesday. The staff was all great. TJ and Jess were our servers at most meals and both were very fast and hard working considering how busy it was. I'm not sure if it was bc of new years weekend but the food was impressive for resort food, especially since it was included. The crab cakes were delicious, and stuffed chicken breast with a Dijon sauce were our favorite meals. We stayed in a champagne suite, although dated, which we expected from previous reviews, the bathroom had been updated. The round bed with the flickering star lights over it was a nice feature. The heart shaped pool was the perfect size for a pool floatie and some noodles. We enjoyed it very much. Seeing the white wall in pictures before we came we brought a projector and watched movies in the pool room, It was great! The champagne tub was the perfect size for someone 6ft 3in. The sauna was a nice touch but we didn't use it much. The entertainment and comedians were so good. I've been to other resorts and the live entertainment does not even come close to what was provided this weekend. Musicians playing at tables during dinner and taking requests was very nice. The bands all had great talent. The activities at the resort were plenty. We used the game room for bowling and the bar to sit by the indoor fire. There is also an outdoor fire. We didn't do the putt putt or any of the other activities bc we were enjoying our room and the nearby cities and shops. Our stay was awesome and just what we expected! The food was way better than expected as I read many reviews beforehand. You can't go in expecting a brand new resort. This place has a lot of history and the fact it is still surviving after many Pocono closures, great job on being able to stay open. I can't imagine the water bills, propane bills, and chlorine cost to keep everything up to par!Now for some suggestions for slight improvements:1. We lit a special duraflame log as directed, laid a sheet out in front of the fire and about 10 min. Into the act I'm laying on my back in a very vanilla position and realized the whole room was covered in smoke....no smoke detector going off, nothing. We checked it later the batteries were dead. 7 Aquafina bottles of water later we put our fire out, opened the door and hoped the smoke would escape so you wouldn't find us dead from C02 poisoning the next day.2. Although I understand the pink paint is necessary to keep the tubs looking good and fresh but there was a dried paint point bubble or something and my butt Crack slid across it perfectly slicing my Crack open letting the chlorine pool sting the rest of the weekend. Lesson learned don't slide around in the tub, but maybe just smooth those paint globs out a bit.3. I like vegetables, I like them a lot but greenbeans and carrots for the veggies option for 4 dinners straight can even make a bean lover want something else. Although good, maybe some cauliflower. The same for the soup option. It just makes you wonder what has been re-heated from the day before.4. The hot water or water in general was a mystery to me. We tried to fill the big tub early during the day and the water was not even Luke warm but every evening if we tried to fill it the water was piping hot. One morning I went to wash my hands and no water came out of the bathroom sink but an hour later it was fine. Showering in the morning or before 5pm the water was barely warm but every evening it was fine. The pressure would come and go at any point during the day.Besides those few improvements we had a great stay. We loved the older charm.

Visited Paradise Stream for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! Stayed for two nights in the garden of Eden apple suite from Sunday to Tuesday. Considering how long the resort has been around, the upkeep is done well. The suite was renovated, but still maintained its charm. The renovations helped make this a very comfortable stay. The room was also very clean and hot water worked well. I will note that the en suite private plunge pool was not as warm as advertised- we did not use it during the stay.Aside from the well-kept suite, we were also surprised by the food. Breakfast and dinner were both included with our stay and each meal was tasty. The employees were all very pleasant as well. Though meals are included, you are still given the option to tip your waiter/waitress for their good service.Because this was a winter stay, we did not make use of the outdoor activities, but based off this stay, we are entertaining a spring/summer visit. If you are looking for a relaxing time to connect with your partner, I certainly recommend Paradise Stream (resort is adult-only). The resort is less than a five minute drive from Mt. Airy Casino which is also nice. The towns of Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg are nearby and worth driving through/visiting.

I just had my 12th year anniversary at Paradise Stream the only Stars I will be giving out is to Miss Bonnie she was extremely sweet very helpful very knowledgeable she took her time and explained everything to us that is my first time staying at that Resort I'm forever staying at Pocono Palace I will never return to that spot first off the food was not good from breakfast to dinner our food was cold I was very disappointed and the money that we spent to have earwigs and spiders in the room I was upset that the walls were cracking when we ate dinner it was supposed to be an intimate dinner but there were people right next to us that we can touch and literally hear their conversations in the dining area there was water stains on the ceiling the light in the ceiling was hanging I was very disappointed it's bad enough to place the small there's not a lot of activities to do but the activities that we scheduled for we couldn't even do because the man didn't have the proper stuff we were supposed to make candles and he didn't have cinnamon sticks he wanted us to do mason jars like if we were 2 years old I give this place thumbs down I will never return and I would like to cancel my payment on my credit card again the only star I'm giving is to Miss Bonnie the reception amazing I wish she was at Pocono Palace I will post the photos so you know that I'm not lying oh yeah the knob was broke on the heater in the bathroom we couldn't even turn it down the housekeeping sucked we had to call three times just to have the bed made I had to spend extra money to go get breakfast and dinner every night of our stay we tried at least to taste the food no good at all the soups were cold the bread was extremely hard I'm just over this place I would not recommend and I would never go back sorry but not sorry understand that I gave those stars to Miss Bonnie only oh let me not forget there was no hot water in the bathroom sink only in the shower

A+ Getaway for Couples Filled with Activities & Courteous StaffWe stayed 5 nights in the Garden of Eden Apple room with the husband, celebrating our 10th anniversary. The room was warm and welcoming, and the floors and surfaces were clean. The bed sheets smelt and felt a bit musty, but I assume that may have been due to the weather. They were comfy nonetheless, and you can ask staff to change the bedding whenever (we brought an extra fluffy blanket anyway, which is always an excellent comfort). We bought the breakfast and dinner package, which kept our bellies full throughout the day. Anytime we wanted a snack, we trotted down to the gift shop, which had a good supply of snacks, drinks, essentials, keepsakes, wood for the fireplace, intimates, and so much more.Over 15 activities are held and hosted by staff each day, such as mini golf tournaments, treasure hunts, crafts, and other activities to spend your time. We got to enjoy live performances of comedians and musicians. There were many indoor and outdoor activities, even a nature walk path. One of our favorite things to do was bowl and billiards in the game room.I can't for the life of me remember everyone's names between the handful of front desk employees, dinner staff, servers (Noah, Jess, Ashley), CXO helpers, shop staff, and housekeepers, but every single person was friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to talk to and be around. All the staff here were very accommodating and sweet! I wish I could have tipped them all and more. The only downside was no microwave. We asked and were apologetically told there was no way to heat leftovers. Also, due to the air conditioning placement in the room, it wasn't easy to feel the fan blow into the bed area. I would have loved to see a box or standing fan supplied in the room (and possibly a hair dryer, too) for future guests.

The staff on the property is amazing, both Donna at the front desk and Charlie in maintenance were amazing staff. When checking in, found an issue with the room (broken tub with a crack) and the second room had leaking facet. Charlie worked with Donna to see what was available and could be done and recommended a room he knew had no issues (and even came with to make sure).Spooners food for diner was just as good as their other properties and quickly delivered after ordered. The only down side was at the end of their nature trail was a pile of old electronics (televisions and old printers among other things) which was kinda depressing after such a nice nature walk on the trail.

A place for nostalgia and throwback to the 70's and 80's. If you grew up in that era or want to experience something of what it was like, this is a great place. We went for a long weekend. It's not glitzy like Caribbean resorts, so don't go expecting that and you will be happy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Some fun things to do but plan to spend time doing things in the surrounding area. Great hiking and beautiful views. Also, an outlet mall not far away with great brands to shop.

Let me start by saying the staff was wonderful. Everyone was friendly, courteous and helpful. The room however, left a lot to be desired. Paradise Stream was purchased in 1971 and some parts looked like they haven't been cared for since then. Stains on the carpets, molding pulling away from the wall. The Jacuzzi timer was missing the knob and had to be turned on with a pair of pliers. The mirrors surrounding the in-room pool were in poor condition. Stains and "trash trails" on the concrete outside of our room. Torn and buckled carpeting in the gaming area created tripping hazards. Even the large sign at the entrance is old and rusty. Definitely would have gotten more for my money staying somewhere else.

I was excited about a weekend away. But this resort is dated. The food is dated, the soup was luke warm. The salad bar was average. The meal was $55 per person and the food was just OK. The dining room is just blah. Plus our waiter smelled strongly of cigarettes. The rooms.... are dated, but clean. The bleach smell was overwhelming, so we bought a candle. This place needs a make-over. It needs refreshing - fresh paint, landscaping, and general maintenance. It could be fabulous !Location is great, but I'll be going to the nearby Mount Airy casino for dinner tonight !

The ha e games for couples, challenges, and many deferent things, they ha e a schedule and activities for all day long. Even tho it's time for some handy work around the place. Or at least in the room.we had. I still give 5 starts. But I did see a few things. If management contact me I can share a few pics I won't here because it's little things but trust me they make a big difference. Overall, highly recommend it. And if anything would love to provide my service for the handy work that it needs. Thank you so much. The stuff it's so amazing. The bar, rhe game room. Everything its perfect

Great get away but the rooms need an upgrade. Some items were done like flooring tiles but the heart tub Jacuzzi didn't work. The outdoors amenities are not that attractive. Corn hole bags were moldy and disgusting. I did like the isolation, peace and quiet.

General:We went for a quick getaway. Upon arrival it was clear that the facilities were VERY old and outdated. I was slightly concerned about the status of our room after seeing the general conditions of the property. The front desk staff was nice, courteous and helpful. The game room has pay-to-play video games and the bowling game is free but a little wonky. We tried playing a few times and it continued to randomly shut down. The game room in general could use a good cleaning; however, you can amuse yourselves there for a while. Snacks at Spooner's (adjacent to the game room) included fresh veggies and finger food (i.e., fried mushrooms or mini taquitos). If you like sports, the top floor of Spooner's has 3 TVs with available remotes.Room:Our room was good for shutting off the outside world although it too was outdated. The water gets SUPER hot, the pool inside our room was warm and welcoming. The in room sauna was small but functionally served its purpose. The bed was small but firm (comfortable) but the sheets were a little scratchy.Food:Breakfast was good and dinner was mediocre. For whatever reason, the resort (nor servers) do not overtly tell patrons that you can order specialized options outside of the breakfast buffet (gluten free pancakes available). The dinner salad bar is tasty but the meats don't seem to be seasoned well (according to my spouse).

I was going to wait until I got home to leave a review but I could not wait. I was looking forward to this mini vaca since I had not been away in over 3 years. The room is filthy spider webs in the bathroom I don’t think they swept or vacuumed in months the sauna knobs fall off. will not be returning. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED! Anyone looking to come here please read reviews before you book!

This is our 4th visit. Twice to Coven Haven and once to Pocono Palace. We enjoyed each one!! The service is always friendly which is great. The only issue was check-in took quite a bit of time even though there was only one couple ahead of us and it was approximately 5pm on a Sunday. The service in the dining room was good the first morning with our breakfast. The second day, we had a different server and it was very slow. Not sure as to why since it was not a full house. All in all, we always enjoy ourselves because it's about connecting with your mate and the pool rooms are always a blast!!

Unless you want to be disappointed with false advertising, do not go here. I’m here with my wife for our 5 year anniversary and so far I’m extremely disappointed in the venue. The room had issues such as the phone not working properly, we found a hair clump in the bathroom, a toe nail by the private pool in the room, and the sheets had blood spatter stains on the side. Our trip package said it included private dining but that apparently just means you eat in the same dining room with other guests, close enough to hear every table around you. At least the trees are in fall colors so the view is nice.

The rooms were great. Our room was not ready by check-in. We had to wait 20 minutes. Then, the deck light outside of our room was on all night. I called the front desk on the 1st night to see if it could be turned off. I was told maintenance would come to remove the bulb. They never showed up. My husband ended up renoving it the next day. Then, our tv remote stopped working. I called the front desk, to which I was told maintenance would come fix it. 4 hours later & they never showed. So I called again & someone came within a few minutes. The rooms were nice, but the overall service definitely needs improvement.

Such a wonderful place. My spouse and I went for our 16th anniversary. It was our first time and now we want to go back every year. So much to do. Breakfast and dinner was included in the package we did. So delicious. The staff was great and helpful. Everyday was different crafts to do. They give a paper with everything going on for the day. Such a wonderful time. Thank you paradise streams for such an amazing time.

Talk about a flawless stay from the moment we arrived the first they did make a quick dinner reservation. The service was impeccable. Donna on the desk took care of our every request. Jess in the restaurant took exceptionally care of us. No matter how busy she was she treated us like we were her only table. The salad bar and breakfast bar can have anything you can ask for. The food was awesome. The Lamb shenk and jambalaya was off the charts. The rooms were huge and clean. The resort has many activities throughout the day.Spooner's was a bar that had an arcade bowling alley fitness center there entertainment every night. They have the biggest pretzels I've ever seen.Bottom line Paradise stream resort is one of the best places we have ever been too and plant to go back. The cost of the room includes most actives dinner and breakfast you pay more but it's so worth it.

The concept and the ideas are there but the execution is lacking. The resort boasts about the food, entertainment and rooms. Customer service/front desk are your back bone please give them a raise. There were several people that wasn't able to check in upon arrival due to rooms not being ready and they were generous and very respectful about fixing that problem. Especially since we were staying one night, we want to get as much time out of the resort and room as possible. The room was dank and moist smelling upon opening the door. I found out later while walking barefoot that the air conditioner in the sitting area had saturated the carpet..which is probably what caused the smell. The rooms need updating, the heart shaped pool was great, but the paint on the inside of it was peeling off and some was in the bottom of the pool. The TV kept going out, in assuming WiFi or cable is spotty. Some of the glass wall was broken off and just laying against the wall. It was noticable so maybe housekeeping left it. The food was good, the adult entertainment can have more added/updated. Either more technology in the arcade area or hands on need to be invested. The bartender that weekend at Spooner's was the saving grace, she made jokes was very friendly and attentive. Overall, spend the money the update the place. The concept is perfect, the execution is lacking.

Spent a few days there having not been in a while well aware it's an older resort. The first issues was with the fact that our heated pool was ice cold upon arrival spoke to management about it had the matinance give us another room with a fair amount of attitude and dismissiveness from them sufficet to say the new room was equally cold and told it was a cooperate decision take them colder I couldn't understand how but we endured it cause we were only staying 2 nights but i will never stay at paradise streams again and it's sad given that it our 25th anniversary and it was marred by sub Parr establishment

Although I've been visiting the Poconos for about 30 years, this was my first time staying at Paradise Stream. It was a great experience all around and I hope to return very soon
We came for our anniversary trip so overall we enjoyed our time because we were spending time together. They gave us a free upgrade when we checked in. The room was big and had nice amenities, however, our mini fridge was off and had mold in it, our pool had what at first we thought was just wear at the bottom but was actually dirt that had settled. They cleaned it but there was still dirt after they cleaned it. The first night it was very humid and hot in the room but it cooled down with the AC on full blast. The bathroom had pee on the seat when we got there and the towels could've been cleaned better. The TVs cut out frequently. The staff was great with handling any issues and were super helpful. I'd suggest them doing better with cleaning, updating/repairing the rooms, being more clear about their services and setting up some kind of tripod or something in the photo areas so couples can take selfie couple photos.

Great place to stay for a romantic getaway. A Lot of different activities on the property that are available to do at no extra cost. Breakfast was included every morning which was delicious and the service was excellent. They have a store on site with a lot of different souvenirs. It's pretty pricey but there is a lot they offer in the cost of your stay.

This was my first visit to this resort and I must say I was VERY impressed. The staff were friendly and professional and the grounds were great - there is a lake, a pool, mini golf course, archery, shuffleboard, corn hole and so much more. Inside there is a game room with so many activities as well (bowling, ping pong, mini golf, arcade). We had a blast playing the various games. The room had a small pool and a heart shaped jacuzzi. We had many romantic moments while visiting this location and we can't wait to go back!! (No kids allowed at this resort. Adults only)

Had a birthday weekend stay with the wife and had an amazing time. This is an adult only resort. Please do get the food package which includes breakfast and dinner. You will thank me. We mostly spent time together at the pool and loved it. We had a live DJ and played couples games which were fun.

Like 1-ply toilet paper, functional but not luxury. Facilities has potential but they are in total disrepair. Buildings were falling apart from the outside, there were water damage visible in the restaurant, the bar shutdown because water was entering the place, rooms didn't feel clean( my feet were black from walking bare feet). Room did not feel luxurious, just plain with a pool in it. In room entertainment was awful, specially for an adult themed resort. Everything felt like a slumlord ran the place by doing minimal and cheap repairs. Upon arrival, trash bags were in front of my room and sat there for over a day. On day 2, we arrived in the room to find out there was no hot water in the room and we had to wait another 2 hours for hot water. Staff were friendly but the system they work under did allow them to provide a good service. At the restaurant, it took 15-20 min until someone came to the table, another 15 min after drinks were served. Food took another hour to be served, btw we had dinner reservations. Overall, I do not recommend.P.S. - they do give you 1-ply toilet paper.

As Forever Lovers, we have always loved coming to these resorts. They really do try to focus on the theme of love the entire time you are there. We enjoy the amenities as well as the entertainment. The rooms are great, but some are starting to need maintenance. With that said, we will be back again next year to keep the romance flowing...

A beautiful place for newlyweds or for those who are celebrating many years of marriage. We stayed at Diana’s Oasis, and it truly was an oasis! A beautiful room with a heart shaped jacuzzi tub, a round king size bed (with nice pillows!), and a pool just for us in our room! Amazing stay! The food was excellent too. Beautifully prepared and delicious, large portions too. Lots to do on the grounds as well, with an update on activities each day. Entertainment included every night. Tennis, indoor bowling, outdoor pool, archery, bikes, mini golf all included. When you break down everything that’s included, it is great value for your money. We found all of the staff very friendly & efficient, willing to help with any question we had. A beautiful location and drive down! We will be back!
